Having grown up in Vancouver, Julie made the move to Vancouver Island in 2014. She studied English at UBC, earning her Bachelor of Arts, and somehow converted that degree into a career in dentistry. She still isn’t sure how this happened.
Now with more than 10 years of experience, Julie initially started out as an administrator before making the leap into practice management. She thrives on the organized chaos of a busy, patient-focused practice and loves the challenge of keeping all the moving pieces running smoothly. From managing the day-to-day operations to working closely with the clinical team, her focus is always on creating a positive experience for both patients and staff.
Outside of the office, you can usually find her in the kitchen testing out new baking recipes like a flour-covered mad scientist. She frequently procrastinates on yard work to take long walks around the city, preferably with a coffee stop somewhere along the way. She believes life is too short for boring books, mediocre baked goods, or bad coffee.
